JAY FRENCH RECEIVES INAUGURAL FUNJET FIRST AWARD
REcognizing the areas top travel agent

Funjet Vacations recently awarded Jay French of Ultimate Cruise & Vacation the inaugural Funjet First Award. This award recognizes Jay as the top travel agent in the four-state area of KS, NE, IA and western MO for his dedication and service to his local clients.

The Funjet First Award is based on three areas of the travel agency business, including customer care, engagement and strategic selling. For customer care, Funjet Vacations rewards agents who offer comprehensive service to their clients from the planning stages to the completion of their trip. Travel agents have many unique resources to take advantage of, and Funjet Vacations is looking for them to utilize these in the engagement category. In the strategic selling category, Funjet Vacations recognizes travel agents who tailor trips to the specific needs of their clientele, and ensure they have the best vacation experience and memories possible.

The top brass of Funjet Vacations came to Kansas City on October 5, 2006 to present the award at the annual Funjet Vacations Trade Show for area travel agents. More than 200 travel agents and nearly 100 of Funjet's preferred suppliers were on hand to witness the presentation of this prestigious first-ever award. The award was presented by Kecia Milberg, Kansas City Sales Manager; Greg Ludwig, Heartland Sales Manager; and Jacki Marks, Vice President Sales & Marketing.

"What an honor. Winning the very first Funjet First Award is rewarding for the hard work we put in but also very humbling," Jay said. We are proud to be recognized for our unwavering service to clients in Kansas City."

This recognition comes with reward as well. Jay has been placed on the national Advisory Board for Funjet Vacations, giving the Kansas City area a strong voice on one the countries largest most successful tour operators. Additionally, Jay receives unlimited airfare on Funjet Vacations charter flights beginning immediately through December 31, 2007. Jay intends to use this to the advantage of his clients by traveling to Funjet's tropical destinations as much as possible and adding reports and pictures from each destination to the Ultimate Cruise & Vacation web site.

Ultimate Cruise & Vacation, located in Shawnee, KS opened its doors in April, 2002. The family owned and operated agency offers personalized vacation planning seven-days a week and a web site rich in content including personal pictures and inspection reports on the major destination offered by Funjet Vacations and major cruise lines.
